I am really excited about a new idea that I have just started working on. I have called it Cardboard Funfair. Here is the pistol that I made last week for the Duck Shoot.

I embroidered the majority of the word Sew by hand using a technique called silk shading. After that I finished it off by animating the serif at the end of the W, stop frame, in satin stitch. The embroidery was then comped on to a background plate and graded in After Effects (by John Taylor).

The new Santander campaign, that I directed a small piece of animation for, is on TV from this Sunday the 4th of March. There are four different spots. Look out for my section ‘You Sew’ in one of them.
