I’ve been shooting some stop-frame for a little section that I'm directing on a Santander commercial. The commercial is a live action and animation mix, and the animation is being created by various directors at Passion Pictures/Strange Beast.

I am pleased that two of my most recent pieces of work have been shortlisted for the BAAs this year. They are FIFA – 20 Centres in the Best Commissioned Animation category and Fairy – Make a Wish in the Best 2D Commercial category. Fingers and toes crossed for a finalist nomination…

Here are links to both the Evening Standard and the What's on Stage five star reviews of the show I’ve been working on for the last couple of months. I was team leader on a scene, both sourcing components and set dressing. And last night I was in it too!

Unfortunately tickets are sold out for this run, but be sure to get on board either as a passenger or cast/crew member next year, it's one hell of a ride!

Over the last couple of weeks I have been enjoying working on conceptual designs for pre production on a couple of projects for production companies Passion in London and ANimation in Oslo.

Here are some designs for a girl character. They did not make it through to the next stage (on the Norwegian project) but I am really pleased with them. Perhaps I can use them for something else in the future…
